Abstract

Innovation is a key aspect in today’s competitive world. In this context, in an environment where migratory flows are increasingly common, diversity, and specifically, cultural diversity, is a focal point for every organization operating and developing in global environments. Moreover, this cultural diversity can impact its level of innovation. Therefore, the objective of this study is to conduct a bibliographic analysis of scientific articles linking cultural diversity and innovation in organizations. The analysis covers scientific works published from 1992 until 2022, thematic groupings, the connection between the two concepts, countries with the highest number of publications, main organizations, editorial journals, and contributing authors. From the results obtained, we can conclude that cultural diversity and innovation are terms of growing interest in the scientific literature, despite a limited number of studies linking these terms. This presents an opportunity for further research in this field. This article contributes by presenting a bibliometric examination of cultural diversity and innovation and by proposing future research directions in these two areas of study, which are of great interest to both the academic and business fields.
