Abstract

Proceedings of the Twelfth International Conference on The Constructed Environment, hosted by the University of Monterrey, 28-29 April 2022. The conference featured research addressing the following special focus: “Constructing New Environments for Living, Work and Play” and annual themes: • The Design of Space and Place. Addresses the ways in which human settlements and the built environment is conceptualized, plans represented, and competing interests negotiated. • Constructing the Environment. Examining the processes of constructing buildings and creating landscapes. • Environmental Impacts. Exploring questions of sustainability in the constructed environment. • Social Impacts. Investigating the social life of constructed environments.
