The Role of Cultural Diplomacy in Mexico: History and Representatives

Abstract

Mexico is a land described by poets and artists as an unrepeatable surreal cradle. A country full of magic at every corner, where contrasts and nuances take place, such as the diversity of colors, smells, sounds and cultural richness that lives in the artistic offerings. Through this essay, we analyze terms such as cultural diplomacy, soft power, as well as the initiative and actions of the Mexican diplomats in matter of culture. This paper presents the cultural relations and the role played by Mexican representatives, as well as the policies of the cultural diplomacy among these years, it history and the opportunities.
