Abstract
The study considers an integrating partnership between Colleges of Education and Industries for Developing Entrepreneurial Skills among Technical Education Students in Nigeria. Three research questions were raised, three objectives and three null hypotheses were postulated. The research design is cross-sectional survey. The area of the study is North East Nigeria. The study population are lecturers, technicians, Industrial staff and NCE III Students from colleges of education from the study area. Multi stage sampling technique was used in the study. Firstly, convenient sampling technique was used to select North-East, purposive sampling technique was used to select fivr colleges of educations in the study area. The study stratified the participants according to their group, using simple random sampling researcher selected 152 participants from population of the study. The instrument to be used for data collection was questionnaire Tagged LTI & SQESDTES. The questionnaire consisted three constructs, designed based on the objectives and research questions of the study and were measured on a five-point scale. The instrument was validated by two experts from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa university (ATBU) Bauchi and one from Federal College of Education Gombe. The reliability coefficient of the instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha technique. The data collected was analysed using statistical package of social Sciences (SPSS). Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions while Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to test the Null Hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance.
