Drainage System in Malis, Guiguinto, Bulacan

Abstract

The study considering drainage systems in Malis, Guiguinto, Bulacan, highlights this system’s critical role in stormwater management and flood prevention. It focuses on assessing the current state of the drainage system in Malis, utilizing a mixed-methods research approach to understand its effectiveness and to identify areas for improvement. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research revealed inadequate drainage infrastructure, often clogged with debris and mud, exacerbating flooding issues for residents and commuters. The findings underscore the necessity for policy enforcement regarding regular drain maintenance and the expansion of drainage facilities to enhance their effectiveness in managing stormwater and protecting community infrastructure.
